When four links are worth the same as an entry level Rolex watch, it's worth spending the time to make them look perfect.
Not something I'd usually do but an interesting little project - this Royal Oak came into the workshop for standard refinish job, but an aftermarket link in the bracelet stuck out like a sore thumb. My initial thoughts were to bin the link, but then the watch would no longer fit the clients wrist.
