Maintenance Recommendations

Water

All watches are pressure tested before leaving the workshop to ascertain water resistance. The result is documented on the Guarantee card.

To ensure water resistance, it is essential that crowns and pushers are fully screwed down before exposing the watch to water or moisture. For peace of mind we recommend having your watch re-tested every 12 months.

Cleaning

To maintain your watches lustre, regularly wipe the case and bracelet with a clean microfibre cloth. Water resistant watches can be cleaned with a soft toothbrush and mild soapy water.

We strongly advise against the use of polishing cloths or abrasive products. We’re always on hand when cleaning alone isn’t enough.

Inspect

It’s advisable to regularly inspect the condition of your watch, to prevent minor issues becoming a major fault.

Leather straps should be checked for signs of deterioration, bracelets for loose pins/screws, clasps for weak closures.

Automatic watches should be nearly silent, rattling may indicate a service is due. Pushers should move freely, screw down crowns should thread smoothly and securely. Our workshop is at your disposal.
